Give Help - Donate or Volunteer Now

here are several ways to make a difference to families in need in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. All gifts help meet basic needs, such as rent assistance, emergency shelter, transitional housing, help with utility bills, and food for people in your community.

Financial Gifts
Most gifts to EFAA come in the form of checks. If you would like to send a check to EFAA, please send it to: Emergency Family Assistance, 900 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder, CO 80302.

Gifts of stock, stock options, life insurance or other assets often offer tax advantages to a donor. If you are considering this type of gift, you should consult with your legal or tax advisor about tax related issues prior to making your stock donation.

A pledge program using your credit card or electronic funds transfer (EFT) is a very simple way to support EFAA on a routine basis. Through this giving mechanism a fixed amount is gifted from your bank account to EFAA on a schedule established by you.

A deferred gift to EFAA as part of your estate plan will leave a lasting legacy in support of EFAA's work. Unless otherwise restricted by the donor, estate gifts will be used to build an endowment for EFAA.

Wonderful Volunteering Opportunities
EFAA has a well developed volunteer program offering many rewarding volunteer opportunities. Volunteers repeatedly tell us how much they learned about a part of the community they had very little awareness of, and how they are welcomed, supported, and feel that they make a critical difference. Non-Financial or In-Kind Giving
During the course of our work, EFAA receives and distributes a great number of in-kind gifts that are of tremendous benefit to people asking for help. The most useful in-kind gifts range from food and personal items to serviceable furniture.
