Our hearts are with our Boulder community and the thousands of families impacted by the Marshall Fire.

We are relieved to report that EFAA’s housing sites in East Boulder County were unaffected. While the families living in our Louisville apartment complex were evacuated, they are now back home safely.

EFAA’s services in East Boulder County focus on transitional housing for low-income families. As you consider where to donate your funds, time, and items to help those impacted by the fires, we recommend supporting one of the following trusted partner organizations who are directly responding to this disaster:

Sister Carmen is EFAA’s trusted sister organization and the lead family resource center serving East Boulder County. They are currently accepting monetary donations and gift cards of $100 increments to Walmart, Target, Costco, and local restaurants. More information here.

Community Foundation Boulder County, in partnership with Government and nonprofit organizations, is working to marshal financial support on behalf of those most directly affected by the wildfire.

To everyone who has reached out and asked us how to lend a helping hand to the victims: thank you. During these dark hours, we know that the power of coming together as “neighbors helping neighbors” will see us through.
