Many corporations, schools, churches, organizations and neighborhoods regularly hold food drives to help stock EFAA’s food bank. In recent food drives, Calvary Bible Church delivered 3,875 pounds of food and Crestview Elementary delivered 5,400 pounds — enough for 211 visits to the food bank. That means that 53 families in crisis can put food on the table for an entire month and use the $300 they save on groceries to put toward other necessities like rent, medicine or job training.
You, too, can hold a food drive of any size and make a difference in our community. Even a few bags of groceries and toiletries has the power to change a family’s life. Click here to learn how to take action and help your community.
