EFAA’s Food Pantry is Back!

in Food Insecurity

EFAA has officially re-opened our food pantry at 1575 Yarmouth Ave as of Tuesday, November 5th! EFAA’s food pantry was displaced after the building suffered severe water damage from a fire system suppression leak on July 12th. Thanks to our friends at Boulder County Housing and Human Services, the food pantry has been operating with limited food distribution and hours at 1333 Iris Ave since late July.

This move comes just in time for the holiday season, when the need for food assistance is greatest. Last year, EFAA’s food pantry served 1,304 families in the months of November and December alone. EFAA’s food pantry provides special assistance for the holidays, such as frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving and other holiday staples. We are looking to individual donations to help restock the pantry as supplies have gotten low during the repairs.
