EFAA owns or operates 57 short-term and transitional housing units in Boulder County for families with children.

EFAA also works in partnership with Boulder Housing Partners on a new program called Bringing School Home, which provides affordable housing and educational opportunities for families with very young children. Click here to learn more.




EFAA’s food pantry provides food to qualifying families, seniors and people with disabilities. We can also help you sign up for SNAP benefits. Just call for an appointment. A Mobile Food Pantry is also available. Learn more here.



Families living EFAA’s housing units are encouraged to enroll their children in our Children’s Program, which offers a specialized case manager, homework help, creative projects, field trips and resources for parents.



EFAA may be able to assist with rent, transportation, housing deposit, emergency hotel, eyeglasses, minor medical and dental costs, energy-related utilities like gas, electric, propane, or ID and birth certificate fees.




Our strengths-based case managers help participants identify needs and maximize opportunities. Through assistance, guidance and connection to other resources, our goal is to help participants meet their basic needs.
