Holiday Giving

The holidays will look different this year for everyone. Families with low-incomes, who have been disproportionally impacted by COVID-19, need help to make the holidays special for their children. This holiday season, we invite you and your family to make a difference in the lives of local families by giving back to EFAA.

Stay on this page for information about holiday food donations, volunteer opportunities, and EFAA’s gift room. Otherwise, if you have any questions please reach out to…

Holiday Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteers to help run our gift room operations! To ensure the safest possible environment for everyone, all volunteer positions are designed to limit contact and communications between volunteers, staff and families/participants.

EFAA’s Holiday Gift Room will operate in alignment with all C.D.C. COVID-19 recommendations and all volunteers are required to follow recommendations along with EFAA’s COVID Safety Measures and Protocols.

Between Monday, December 14th and Saturday, December 19th, we’ll need a total of 5 volunteers each day per shift to run our Gift Room; 4 “Gift Station Monitors” and 1 “Exit Monitor.” Volunteer shifts are as follows:

Monday 12/14, Tuesday 12/15, Wednesday 12/16 & Friday 12/19:
Either 9:15 am – 12:15 pm or 1:15 pm – 4:15 pm

Thursday, 12/17:
Either 9:15 am – 12:15 pm, 1:15 pm – 4:15 pm or 4:45 – 7:45 pm
