Stock

Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated stock directly to EFAA. By giving stock, your gift to EFAA and your personal tax savings may be greater than if donating after-tax proceeds of stock you sell yourself. Click here for stock transfer instructions.

IRA

If you are 70½ years or older, consider making your gift to EFAA from your IRA. You can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to a qualified charity like ours without having to pay income taxes on the money. This may be a great way to meet all or part of your IRA’s required minimum distribution (RMD) and help families in need.

 Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a personal charitable vehicle that donors can establish at a community foundation or financial institution, like Vanguard or Schwab. A DAF allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate income tax deduction, and recommend grants from the fund over time to qualified nonprofits, such as EFAA.

Please consult with your financial planner or tax advisor to determine the best options for you.

Stock

Many of our donors have supported EFAA for years and want to help ensure EFAA is there to help the next generation of families in need. A gift through your estate plan or a gift to EFAA’s endowment is a great way to sustain the mission you have come to believe in.
