In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, EFAA has ramped up our efforts to provide financial assistance to households in our service area. If you have gotten deposit/rent/mortgage assistance from EFAA since April 1 and are still in need due to being impacted by COVID-19, it’s possible EFAA can help again. Please call our main number at 303-442-3042 and leave us a message with your contact information. We are returning calls within 24-48 hours.

COVID-19: Get Help, Give Help

coronavirus

EFAA is focused on helping people in the City of Boulder and mountain communities impacted financially by the coronavirus through food, financial assistance, and resource navigation. Call us at 303-442-3042 to learn how EFAA may be able to help you.

Financial Assistance

EFAA can provide qualifying households with financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, and minor medical costs. People in need of financial assistance should call EFAA’s front desk at 303-442-3042 and leave a voicemail with your name and phone number. Please inform us if you have an emergency situation (demand for payment, shut-off notice or eviction in-hand), so that we can schedule the earliest possible appointment. All appointments will be conducted over the phone. Your case manager will call your phone number at the time of your scheduled appointment.

Food Bank

EFAA’s food bank will be distributing grab-and-go food bags on the north-west side of our main office at 1575 Yarmouth Ave during our new food bank hours to anyone in need of food in Boulder. Content of bags may differ based on availability. There is no need to schedule an appointment to use the food bank. Eligible households may visit the food bank once per week. Upon arrival, you will be asked to provide your name, date of birth, zip code and phone number.  Food re-evaluations are being extended for six months and are not needed to pick up food.
